Year 6 Stay Safe Trip

On Wednesday year 6 attended a stay safe trip at Bradford Bulls. The children learnt:

  • how to cross the road safely,
  • the dangers of electricity and gas,
  • how to approach dogs
  • and what to do in case of a fire.

Bowling Park Primary School shares best practice in The Parliamentary Review

It’s been a good year for Bowling Park Primary School. 2017 gave us a very good Ofsted report (April) that celebrated the excellent learning behaviors and resilience of our children, our best ever results (we are in the top 5% of schools nationally for progress in maths and writing at KS2) and a fantastic article in the Parliamentary Review. School Games Day 2017!

On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th July we are holding our annual School Games Day! Children will be competing in 9 events: 3 rowing, 3 jumping and 3 running. The children will be competing for medals and certificates in their classes. Parents are invited to come and cheer on their children. Below is the School Games Day poster detailing the dates and times.

Year 4 Nell Bank Residential

Year 4 had a FANTASTIC time on their Nell Bank residential this week. The children were impeccably behaved; a real credit to our school. They enjoyed activities including a bug hunt, pond dipping, walk to the famous ‘Cow and Calf’ and fish ‘n chips!

Lightwater Valley trip

Yr5 and Yr6 children with fantastic attendance were treated to a trip to Lightwater Valley this week. They had a brilliant day out; enjoying the thrills of rides such as The Ultimate!


GEM Day 2017

Today year 6 went the extra mile visiting different industries in Bradford. The advertising and publicity team have been busy managing the Twitter live feed and creating a range of material. Below, is a video the team created using photos from the day. What a fantastic day everybody has had, especially the children.
